Job description
- Responsible for all company’s accounting, reporting and tax matters
- Heading the accounting department (team of 2) and ensuring precise accounting
- Preparation of reports for statutory purposes, management and group reporting purposes
- Interpreting the financial information to the management team and leading the budgeting process
- Automation of reporting system
- Tax planning
Requirements
- Experience of at least 3 years in the position of chief accountant
- Relevant university degree
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxes and laws of the Republic of Lithuania
- Excellent command of MS Excel and good general PC literacy
- Very good written and spoken English
- Ability to perform timely, precise and thorough reporting tasks
- Ability to express one‘s thoughts clearly when writing and speaking
- Ability to effectively lead a team and cooperate with other departments of the organisation
- Advantages: experience of working with the Finvalda accounting software, knowledge in IFRS, experience reporting to foreign group, able to start working soon (1st of June would be perfect)
